NPS Dressage Qualifier

The first scottish qualifier for NPS Fodder Solutions Supreme Dressage Championships will be held at Kingsbarns EC on 17 December. The qualifiers are incorporated within classes 2 and 3. For the schedule click the link below.

KINGSBARN EC DRESSAGE 17th DECEMBER 2011 (2)

Scottish Bred Pony of the Year

Very many congratulations to R Davidson and Trowan Moulin who has been chosen to receive this prestigous award. I am sure you will all agree that Moulin and the team behind him are very worthy winners indeed. Congratulations also to the Smith family and Bracklin Jackpot and to Bellindene Franklyn who came 2nd and 3rd respectively.

2012 NPS/Fodder Solutions Supreme Dressage Championship and International Team Challenge

We have had a few enquiries from members about this championship. Our suggestion is that people interested in qualifying for this competition, approach existing dressage competitions in their area that are running Prelim 14 and Novice 28 to see if they would be willing to incorporate this qualifier within their classes. Then please notify Alicia (NPS Scotland Secretary)  who will apply for the qualifiers and then we can publicise these qualifiers for everyone on the website. Hopefully we can get a few qualifiers going in Scotland and make up a team for the championship.

CSHPC Hunter Trials 26 September 2009

The Central Scotland Highland Pony Club are this year hosting something a bit different - a cross country competition for all of the Mountain & Moorland breeds in the UK. The event will still be run in the usual format of "have-a-go" (i.e. you cannot be eliminated, if you don't like a fence, don't do it!!). Each fence will also have 3 height options so if you have a youngster new to XC then you can take it easy over the smaller option. There will be separate classes for each breed and 1st - 6th place rosettes in each class, so please lets make this a showcase event and encourage lots of native ponies along and lets show the world what they can all do! The event takes place at Gleneagles EC, Auchterarder. For more information and schedule please visit www.cshpc.co.uk
